Consultation
Bernard offers consultations (15 mins) via phone or Zoom, which provides a valuable opportunity to explore your mental health concerns in a supportive and confidential environment. During this session, potential clients gain insight into potential client-centered, treatment options. Additionally, consultations provide a chance to establish a rapport with Bernard, encouraging trust and comfort for future sessions. Please use the contact page to set up a time and date!
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy (50 minutes) with Bernard provides a safe space for you to express thoughts, feelings and concerns without judgment. This is an opportunity to gain deeper self-awareness, developing coping strategies and work towards achieving your therapy goals. The therapeutic relationship fosters trust and collaboration, empowering clients to navigate life’s challenges with greater resilience and clarity.
Couples/Family Therapy
Couples/Family therapy (60 minutes) with Bernard offers a structured and supportive environment to address conflicts, identify unproductive behaviors and improve a variety of expectations within relationships. Bernard has specialized training which facilitates constructive dialogue, helping couples and families cultivate healthier patterns of interaction and build a stronger foundation for navigating relationship stressors more effectively.
Brainspotting
Brainspotting (50 mins) is a non-invasive and effective therapeutic technique that aims to access and process deep-rooted emotional experiences including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, performance enhancement, trauma and much more. During these sessions Bernard guides client eye movements to locate specific “brainspots” associated with the source of their distress. Once identified, these spots are fine tuned to facilitate the processing and release of unresolved trauma stored in the brain.
